An Ode to a Friend...

An ode to that friend....

I don't have many people
But I do have you

Not often do I open up
But you know all that is true

You have stuck through it all

Seen me at my worst

Saw me fall in love

With zack, and also with my first

You never judge me

Or even let me down

Always reassured me the best

Picking me up off the ground

But things have changed

And I worry for this route

If things get any worse

I will have some serious doubt

You are my all time best friend

always one I can go to

But we are drifting apart

In life, I have to have you

You are closer than a sister

And nicer than a saint

I couldnt change a thing

Or give you a complaint

I just dont want to loose you
Because we are drifting apart
I would be so lost in this world
You are a part of my heart

Know I am always here for you
Even during this rough patch

If you ever want to fall

Ill be there ready to catch

So lets put more effort forth

And try to re-patch our mistakes

Because id hate to loose years of joy

And this friendship to break

This is a small effort from me to patch up with a friend, who was worth the Earth! Someone, who promised to stand by me, decided to fall out for some lousy spam mail [(am not aware what it exactly was...;-)] that went in my name... Alas, I wasn't even given a chance to explain my position...

Lumens Lost...

Some of the first lamps
Lit on the nights

Of the festival of ligh
Often goes off
Before, we could turn around

Lighting the last lamp

In our collection

We…

Sight it a little closely

A little longer…

Lumens lost

Is much greater

Than what it spread

When it was lit

Descends to spread

Slowly
Brightly…
In every heart!

The State

After entering
The God’s room...

Tried to get away

Satan at the doorsteps...

Turned back

Looked at God...

The halo of peace

Glowed

Around his face...

“I want to go,” Said I.

“Go and come,” said God.

After going...

I’m back!

Yet Again I've Forgotten Your Name

Burying within the screams of the sea
Amidst the fragrance of sweet smelling flowers

Collecting the wetness of the mist

My memories begin their gallop!

Before the buzz of the bee
Could fade from our ears

We had discussed "enough"

With the weight of the air
That brings down the leaves in autumn

We parted...

Like the light hidden in fire
Everything that glittered have faded

While pushing to the pinnacle of the pits
And nadir of the peaks

The cool breeze touched me

Reminding me of your name

On a rainy day
Failing to remember
What was expected

And forgetting to fall
Remains drenched...

A few flowers...
Yet again I've forgotten your name!

Success

While crossing the road.
I sighted
An anonymous Flower

Wished to turn into Carl Linnaeus
And name it
In all the worldly languages
To call it out

I stood. . .
Stunned by its ability
To stand in its own place
And bloom with success

Shouts from the other side
Jumped to side . . .
To escape
As a speeding car went past. . .

Searched along the roads
Couldn’t sight
The Successful flower!

Yearnings. . .

My yearnings...
Image
In this starry desert
Are similar
To the longings
Of the solitary sun

What are the gains.?

Of crude expressions
Senseless longings...
Standing strong
To touch the nadir of life.
In the undisclosed privacy!
Dishonour...

Uncovered forthrightness
The pride of being a solitary sun

The longing for life.

Never gets contented In this barren sky
Between the clouds

Which dissipate in their approach!

Withering Flowers

Meaningful poetic lines...
That aren't mine
Summer Rain...
In the distant land . . .
A Bloomed and withered flower...
Behind the leaves

Before I could reach the terrace...

The set evening sun . . .

In the fear of getting disturbed...

The incomplete bird's nest

Sighted only in the photographs...

The Kurinji flowers . . .
There are many that are lost
By us, and . . .
On their own!

In my room . . .
The arrested open space

The bright light
That peeps through the window . . .
Bursts in sadness for its arrest

As scattered silence!

The practiced words of the day . . .

Remain meaningless in the darkness

Your memories remain scattered
Filling the space . . .
Joining my inability to stop (you)!
